Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Talent Development Specialist to collaborate with Human Resources leadership and stakeholders to create and implement impactful training programs, including our “Excel at CC” initiative. In this role, you will train employees in specialized programs, continuously evaluate and enhance our curriculum, and provide expert guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on developmental opportunities. Additionally, you will support and assist in our performance evaluation development, review, and delivery of processes to ensure they are effective and constructive.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Content: Design and develop instructional materials, including multimedia content, in-person training guides, interactive activities, and assessments. Ensure that the online and in-person training is engaging and effective in delivering the desired learning outcomes.
  • Facilitate Learning Events: Lead training sessions, ensuring active participation and engagement. Use various teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles while incorporating the up-to-date best practices.
  • Implement Learning Programs: Implement online and in-person training programs while continuously evaluating their effectiveness. Gather feedback from learners, analyze performance data, and make necessary adjustments to improve the training.
  • Conduct Needs Assessment and Define Learning Objectives: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the learning requirements and objectives of the target audience. Ensure that courses are tailored to meet organizationally relevant learning goals.
  • Integrate Technology: Utilize various e-learning tools and technologies to enhance the learning experience. Use the learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and other digital resources to create seamless and interactive learning experiences.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with subject matter experts, instructors, and other stakeholders to ensure learning content is accurate and relevant. Provide support and training to instructors and learners on how to use the online training materials effectively.

Minimum Qualifications

Relevant Background and Formal Education: Demonstrated skills, competencies, and knowledge required for this job are most often acquired through the following practical experience and level of academic education and training.

Education: ​Bachelor’s degree in a related field​
Experience: ​3 years of experience in a related field ​

Education and Experience Equivalency
​​One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education (OR) one year of relevant academic coursework beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for one year of required professional experience.​

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of experience specific to course creation, instructional design, training, and facilitation.
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System such as Bridge.
  • Experience working with online training development software such as Articulate.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

  • $61,727 to $74,073 per year
