Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager for Annual Giving to play a critical role in driving the success of our fundraising initiatives. This position provides essential logistical, operational, and administrative support that enables the Annual Giving team to perform at its highest potential. Acting as an internal project manager, you will foster transparency and collaboration across the department, the Advancement division, campus partners, and external vendors.
In this role, you will manage key components of direct marketing, crowdfunding campaigns, and the student-based Engagement Center. You will also lead donor relations and stewardship efforts, ensuring meaningful engagement and recognition across our community. Additional responsibilities include maintaining departmental assets and workspace, promoting financial accountability, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures. By organizing process documentation and digital resources, you will help streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Manage the execution and fulfillment of departmental communication, appeals, and special projects by promoting accountability within the department, identifying roadblocks, and facilitating solutions to meet deadlines.
    • In close partnership, develop and manage stewardship outreach and operate as the primary contact for Alumni, Parents, and Donors who have questions and feedback regarding giving to CC.
    • As needed, communicate with cross-campus volunteers and project advocates (Students, Staff, and Faculty) to ensure they are prepared to support special campaigns and projects.
    • Actively contribute and cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Data & Systems Management
    • Daily, partner with stakeholders to support Gift and Records management, enter critical constituent data into the CRM, and address matters pertaining to Gift Processing.
    • Understanding of the GiveCampus online giving and outreach software and provide back-up system support when necessary.
  • Program & Logistical Support
    • Provide logistical support for CC’s Student-led Outreach program, including facilitating mail, email, and video-based stewardship and organizing physical and digital training and outreach materials.
    • Support with logistical management, internal consistency, cross-division transparency, and financial accountability.
  • Reporting & Process Improvement
    • Each month, ensure the delivery of program reports and performance metrics to division leadership. In close partnership with departmental leadership, develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 1 year of experience in a related field

One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education (OR) one year of relevant academic coursework beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for one year of required professional experience.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

  • $22.63 to $27.16 per hour
