Job Summary

The Education Research Assistant provides comprehensive support for research initiatives by conducting literature reviews, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, maintaining secure research records, coordinating communication with project stakeholders, and assisting with the dissemination of research findings. Working closely with faculty, research partners, and participants, the position contributes to all phases of the research process to advance project goals and support high-quality scholarly work.

Responsibilities

  • Research Design, Data Collection & Analysis
    • Conduct literature reviews and support research activities through qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
    • Design and administer surveys, conduct interviews, collect and analyze research data, and assist with qualitative coding and interpretation of findings.
    • Apply appropriate research methodologies to support project objectives and ensure the accuracy and integrity of collected data.
  • Research Administration & Data Management
    • Maintain organized research records and manage secure data storage systems in accordance with established protocols and confidentiality requirements.
    • Organize research files, maintain documentation, and support the efficient administration of research projects to ensure data accessibility, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Partnership Coordination & Research Operations
    • Coordinate and participate in research team meetings, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and documenting discussion notes and action items.
    • Manage relationships with multiple research partners and field site coordinators and communicate regularly with research participants and external stakeholders to facilitate project activities and ensure successful collaboration.
  • Research Dissemination & Scholarly Communication
    • Support the dissemination of research findings through the development of posters, presentations, reports, manuscripts, and other scholarly products.
    • Assist with preparing research materials for internal and external audiences and contribute to the communication of project outcomes and findings.

Collaboration Skills:
Communication centers on exchange and receipt of information but may involve basic collaboration with other employees. Interactions with others outside the organization are limited in that there is an expected handoff to another employee.

Technical Knowledge:
Work requires intermediate skills and knowledge in approaches and systems, which support the design and implementation of major programs and/or processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience in a related field

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

Financial Aid Counselor

The Student Financial Services (SFS) Counselor provides comprehensive financial aid counseling and administration for prospective and current students and families, helping them understand college affordability, financial aid eligibility, application requirements, and available resources. Manages assigned financial aid processes and special populations, reviews student records and documentation to determine eligibility and identify required follow-up, and provides proactive outreach to students who need additional assistance completing the financial aid process. Museum Director & Chief Curator

The Museum at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College (FAC) operates at the intersection of Colorado College’s (CC’s) academic mission and public engagement. The Director & Chief Curator (the Director) provides administrative and curatorial leadership for the museum at the FAC, one of the region's most significant multidisciplinary arts institutions. The Director leads museum operations, staffing, and budget, and sets the museum's curatorial vision. The exhibition program, spanning collections-based and loan-based projects, draws on the intellectual assets of the Colorado College campus community and the cultural legacy of the Southwest within a broader focus on the art of the Americas, while welcoming work from outside the Americas when it resonates with and enriches the museum's curatorial vision. The Director holds ultimate responsibility for the museum’s collections stewardship and NAGPRA compliance on behalf of Colorado College. As a member of the FAC's senior leadership team, the Museum Director & Chief Curator collectively shapes strategic direction for the Fine Arts Center as a whole. The Senior Accountant, Investments & Endowment Administration supports the College's financial stewardship through accurate accounting, administration, reconciliation, analysis, and reporting of investments, endowments, trusts, debt, and related financial activities.
