Job Summary

The Institutional Equity & Belonging (IEB) program coordinator supports the IEB team with both administrative and program coordination tasks. This valuable team member will handle event planning, maintain accurate and organized records, complete administrative tasks, keep our website and social media platforms up to date, manage and create campus communication for our office. The successful candidate will bring a constructive, detail-oriented, practical, and caring skillset to the team.

Responsibilities

Program Logistics:

  • Prepare and maintain reports and evaluation records via data collection and organization.
  • Coordinate and manage campus-wide IEB programming, meetings, training, and events.

Administrative duties:

  • Manage calendars
  • Manage IEB office communications, marketing, website maintenance, and caretaking of the front office
  • Record and maintain accurate records (e.g., professional development, evaluations, budgets, reconciliations, IEB team consulting and programming requests, etc.)
  • Manage student employees


Serve as an IEB Team Representative:

  • Maintain a welcoming environment, cultivate internal and external community partnerships, lead with integrity, and display ethical conduct in the college's best interests.
  • Represent IEB on various campus committees.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • 1 year of administrative experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • 2 years working with computer programs/platforms (e.g., Microsoft/Google Suite, social media)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years of administrative experience
  • Experience working in a higher education setting

  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills (written/editorial/oral)
  • Strong time management and collaboration skills

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

  • $20.75 to $24.68
