Job Summary

As the HR Coordinator of Operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of HR communications, managing essential employee records, supporting payroll processes, special projects, and front desk operations. You'll also supervise student employees and assist with compliance processes—all while promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

  • HR communications—develop newsletters, update the website, and create materials that keep employees informed and engaged.
  • HR operations—support payroll, track key metrics, and generate reports that drive efficiency.
  • Finances & preparedness—process invoices accurately and coordinate emergency readiness for the HR team.
  • Lead & mentor student employees—provide training, guidance, and real-world experience to future professionals.
  • Drive impactful HR projects—support initiatives that enhance the employee experience and strengthen HR processes.
  • Create a welcoming HR experience—oversee front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming and responsive experience for all.
  • Ensure compliance & integrity—administer the Conflict-of-Interest process with accuracy and accountability.

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED and 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Previous experience working in an HR department or administrative role.
Familiarity with HR software and systems.
Experience managing budgets, reconciling expenses, and working with financial systems.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

  • Band D; $22.30 to $26.75 per hour
