Job Summary
The Department of Human Biology and Kinesiology (HBK) at Colorado College invites applications for a visiting instructor or professor position for 2 courses of Introduction to Human Nutrition, HK125 in the spring of 2026.
Colorado College is a liberal arts college of approximately 2000 students. We utilize a block-plan teaching model in which students take one class at a time, and faculty teach one class at a time, meeting three (3) hours per day for 18 days. The two Introduction to Human Nutrition courses would be taught in blocks 5, 6, and/or 7 of the spring semester. Note, there is an 11-day spring break between blocks 6 and 7. The Department of Human Biology and Kinesiology offers a minor in HBK with hands-on experiences and student-centered data analysis. Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in human nutrition, applied or exercise physiology, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with an earned RD/N or PhD are preferred. Post-secondary teaching experience, especially in the field of human nutrition, is preferred.
