Job Summary

Serves a pivotal role in leading the administration and strategic implementation of student conduct and student support processes, with a key focus on the institution-wide integration of the Maxient case management system. Completes case documentation for CARE related cases, tracks actions taken by the CARE Team to manage cases, and manages the administrative components of case management through Maxient. Follow up with staff, faculty, and various campus departments to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment while rigorously upholding institutional standards and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Crisis Intervention Leadership: Conduct a daily intake of all CARE and Conduct reports, assess risk in those reports, assign out accordingly and/or complete outreach protocol accordingly based on office policy in alignment with NaBITA best practices for Case Management.
  • Advisory Leadership: Serve as key administrator for all student conduct and student care reports and be able to answer questions about open/past cases as needed to campus staekkeholders.
  • Maxient Administration: Oversee the administrative aspect of Maxient case management, including support for training to campus partners and ensuring protocols for cases are followed. Direct the management of student conduct and CARE cases, ensuring efficient intake, referral, and adjudication processes, while aligning practices with institutional goals and best practices.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Familiar with the Colleges’ Community Standards as they relate to student conduct, and have familiarity with FERPA, and Clery, as it relates to student support and engaging with students, families, and College staff about student records.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field;
  • Proficient with software programs such as Microsoft Office Suites;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, judgement, and ability to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion; ability to develop positive relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Maxient database or similar case management systems used in higher education.
  • Knowledge of current landscape in higher education in regard to student conduct, Title IX, and other relevant regulations.
  • Experience with Behavioral intervention and threat assessment.
  • Experience with QPR, Mental Health First Aid, Trauma informed care, NaBITA, or similar training.
  • Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Social Work, Higer Education Administration or a related field.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

  • $27.38 - $32.86 per hour
