Job Summary

Join our team and make a difference! As a Coordinator, you will work closely with the Alumni, Parent & Family Relations staff to handle various administrative tasks. You'll provide vital support to the Associate Vice President for Engagement, the Alumni and Family Relations team and play a key role in organizing young alumni programs. Responsibilities

Staff Support:

  • Assist the Associate Vice President for Engagement (AVP) with communications and logistics for the Alumni Association Council, Tiger Travel program and other priorities.
  • Assist Alumni & Family Relations (AFR) staff with event and program logistics, prepare communications, build event registrations, execute events. reconcile p-cards, and process expense approvals and reimbursements.
  • Update Alumni & Family Relations website to keep it current.
  • Oversee operation of Tutt Alumni House, including the ongoing functionality for alumni and the campus community; serve as Momentus venue manager for meeting space; oversee printer management.
  • Supervise AFR student workers.
  • Assist the Alumni engagement team with young alumni programming.

Customer Service:

  • Greet visitors, respond to emails and telephone calls and distribute as necessary.
  • Provide information to the Advancement data team to keep alumni database current and accurate; handle confidential information with integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

High school plus a minimum of two years of related experience (Bachelors’ degree or applicable military service can substitute for two years of related experience); proficient in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated ability to learn other software programs; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to develop strong working relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds; ability to think critically and solve problems; good judgment and ability to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion; excellent organizational and customer service skills; available some nights/weekend; ability to operate standard office equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; knowledge of social media; knowledge of, alumni and family relations programs and best practices; experience with Salesforce Affinaquest, Cascade website management, Emma email marketing, Blackthorne event software and Momentus venue management software or similar programs; ability to articulate the benefits of a degree from a private liberal arts college.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

  • $19.25 to $22.10 per hour
