Job Summary

Partner with the Vice President of People and Workplace Culture, members of the HR team and community stakeholders to fulfill Colorado College’s commitment to being a best place to work through strategic and operational leadership of key cultural and talent management practices. Lead direct reports in implementation of best practices for talent acquisition and development, performance management and engagement strategies for our staff and faculty. Work closely with key stakeholders to help reinforce a diverse and inclusive culture that furthers our antiracism commitment.

 

Responsibilities

Ensure CC’s Talent Acquisition processes attract, select and onboard the talented and diverse employees required to fulfill our mission with focus on our commitment to antiracism.

Develop and enhance learning programs for all employees to improve knowledge and performance and promote Colorado College as a great place to work.

Lead performance assessment processes (feedback practices) that contribute to the development and recognition of a successful workforce.

Lead organizational, departmental, and individual culture influencing engagements. Engagements may include team development, coaching, and training programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years’ experience in organizational development, talent management or similar leadership roles. Experience partnering with others to enhance HR practices. Demonstrated leadership, change management, consulting and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in HR or related field. Higher education experience, SPHR certification.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

  • Band M; $114,740 to $143,425 EF

As part of the total compensation for Staff and Faculty roles, we offer a competitive benefits package including:

Paid vacation and sick time - accrual of 7.34 hours of vacation per pay period (176 hours, 22 days per year) and 0.0462 hours of sick time for each hour worked (96 hours, 12 days per year)

403(b) retirement plans where employees contribute 5% of pay and CC contributes 10%
